Terms & risk disclosure
Read this before funding an account. It is written to be understood rather than to be defensible, and it says plainly what can go wrong.
1. Who we are
Strata Markets SFUNA Inc. ("Strata Markets", "we", "us") operates a pooled digital-asset mandate. When you fund an account, your capital is aggregated with other investors' and deployed against the mandate you selected. You hold a claim on the pooled balance recorded in your account; you do not hold the underlying assets directly, and you do not control the positions taken.
2. What we do not do
We do not provide personalised investment, tax or legal advice. Nothing on this site is a recommendation that a particular mandate is suitable for you. We do not guarantee any level of return, we do not offer capital protection, and we do not operate a deposit-taking business — your balance is not a bank deposit and is not covered by any deposit protection scheme.
3. Funding your account
Deposits may be made by M-Pesa or by on-chain transfer. The platform books in US dollars; M-Pesa settles in Kenyan shillings, and the conversion applied is the rate displayed at the time of the transaction. An M-Pesa deposit is credited automatically once the payment is confirmed to us by our payment provider. An on-chain deposit is credited once the transfer has been confirmed against the receiving wallet by our team. Sending an asset on the wrong network, or to an address other than the one displayed to you, results in a permanent loss that we cannot recover or reimburse.
4. Withdrawals
There is no lock-up period. When you request a withdrawal, the amount is debited from your available balance immediately so that the same funds cannot be committed twice, and the payout is then released by a member of our team. If a request cannot be met — for example because the destination details are wrong, or the request is flagged for review — the full amount is returned to your balance. Payouts are made to the destination you supply, and it is your responsibility to check it.
5. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password and your registered email secure, and for every action taken through your login. Tell us immediately at support@stratamarketsinvestments.com if you believe someone else has access. We may suspend an account where we reasonably suspect fraud, money laundering or misuse.
6. Fees
We do not charge a fee to open or hold an account. Network fees on on-chain transfers, and any M-Pesa transaction charges levied by Safaricom, are borne by you and are outside our control.
7. Data
We collect your name, email address, phone number and transaction history in order to operate the account. Payment details are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your M-Pesa PIN. Every material action on your account is written to an audit log with a timestamp and an IP address, which we retain for security and dispute resolution.
8. Suitability
This product is not suitable for money you may need at short notice, for borrowed money, or for funds set aside for rent, school fees, medical costs or debt repayment. If you are unsure whether it is appropriate for your circumstances, seek independent advice before depositing.
